Bellingham Public Schools offers an inclusive preschool program for 3-to-5 year old Bellingham residents.

Currently, the BECP operates at 2 preschool sites. One is at the Stallbrook Elementary and the other is at the DiPietro Elementary School. Students are placed according to their home address or by available openings. Both sites offer the same curriculum and share staff.

Now in its 31st year, the Bellingham Early Childhood Program is a full inclusion preschool program that recognizes that parents are the first teachers of their children. The program follows the guidelines of the Massachusetts Preschool Learning Experiences and Standards. These standards are recognized by the NAEYC, a nationally accreditation organization for preschools and daycare. We work with families of children ages three through five forming a partnership for quality education and care. Our staff values the uniqueness of each child and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, positive environment. Focusing on a balance of activities appropriate for young children, the curriculum gives equal regard to all areas of development: cognitive, social, emotional aesthetic, and physical.
